the other和other的区别

other是指其他的任何一个；而the other则是指特定范围中的一个。也就是说，other没有范围限制，而the other之前一定是给出一个范围。

the other和other的区别

一、other可作形容词或代词，做形容词时，意思是“别的，其他”，泛指“其他的（人或物）。The other指两个人或物中的一个时，只能用the other，不能用other，此时的other作代词。

例句：

Do you have any other question（s）？

你还有其他问题吗？

He has two daughters. One is a nurse, the other is aworker。

他有两个女儿，一个是护士，另一个是工人。

二、The other后可加单数名词，也可加复数名词，此时的other作形容词。

例句：

Onthe other side of the street，there is a tall tree。

在街道的另一边，有一棵大树。

Mary is much taller than the other girls。

玛丽比其他的女孩高得多。

the other others和the others有什么区别

1、the other 表示“两者中的另一个”，常与 one 连用，构成“one…the other…”结构，意为“（两者中）一个……另一个……”。注意它的使用前提是“事物（人）总数是两个（者）”，the other表示这两个（者）中的另一个。

例如：（1）He raised one arm and then the other. 

他先举起一只手，然后举起另一只。

（2）I have two good friends. One is from England, and the other is from America.

我有两位好朋友。一位来自英格兰，另一位来自美国。

2、others 泛指别的人或物，相当于“other+可数名词复数”，不能作定语，常构成“some…others…”结构，意为“一些……另一些（指余下中的一部分）……”。注意在这个结构中，some表示的部分和others表示的部分相加并不等于事物（人）的全部。

例如：（1）Some cleaned the windows, and others mopped the floor.

一些人擦窗户，另一些人擦地板。

（2）Some hobbies are relaxing, and others are creative.

一些兴趣是让人放松的，还有一些是富有创意的。

3、the others 特指其余所有的人或物，表示在一个范围内的其他全部，相当于“the other+可数名词复数”，也经常构成“some…the others…”结构，表示“一些……其余的全部……”。注意在这个结构中，some表示的部分和the others表示的部分相加等于事物（人）的全部。

例如：（1）If one bank raises interest rates, all the others will follow their lead. 

要是有一家银行提高利率，所有其他银行都会效法。

（2）Some cleaned the windows, and the others mopped the floor.

一些人擦窗户，其余的人擦地板。

the other和another的用法区别

another与the other的区别：

1、单复数不同

指单数时的用法指单数时，若泛指用another，若特指用 the other。如：Give me another （one）。 另外给我一个。

Shut the other eye, please. 请把另一只眼睛也闭上。

2、后面接名词不同

another的用法another一般只能表单数，且其后接名词也只能接单数名词。但是若其后有数词或 few 修饰时，则也可接复数名词。

如：We need another few chairs. 我们还需要几把椅子。
